(Description)","value":"　狭山三十三観音霊場十九番札所(東大和市指定文化財　市旧跡）　\r\n　十九番札所・はやし堂はこのたび整備されてモダンになりました。次第に札所の堂が姿を消す中で本当に嬉しいです。\r\n　位置はかってと同じ敷地内ですが、芋窪東自治会集会所の右側に移りました。\r\n　所在地　芋窪三丁目-1664\r\n　本　尊　如意輪観音像\r\n　詠　歌\r\n　　こずへ吹く　風も大慈の　妙知力　あめつちもれぬ　ちかひなりけり\r\n　2017年(平成29年）頃までにお参りした方は一瞬戸惑われるかもしれません。\r\n　門扉には鍵がかけられていません。自由にお参りできます。\r\n　以前と変わらぬ「十九番札所　はやし堂」(左)の表示､教育委員会の説明板(右)があります。正面に向かうと本尊を拝することができます。\r\n　本尊の如意輪観音像は修理がほどこされていますが、江戸時代後期の作と推定されています。\r\n　御朱印は蓮花寺で頂けます。\r\n順　路\r\n　十八番・雲性寺観音堂から狭山丘陵の麓を走る青梅街道（旧・村山道）を西に進みます。\r\n　蔵敷の高札場を右手にさらに進むと、僅かに左側に旧道が残りますが、現在は観音堂には通じていません。少し進んで蔵敷公民館北交差点を左に折れます。最初の道路を右に入ります。\r\n　明治生まれの古老からのお話では、お参りをする人は\r\n　「普段は一人が多かったな」\r\n　「講の時はよ、十人を超えたよな。列になって、ご詠歌と鐘の音が近づいきてな、それが、遠くなってよ・・・」\r\n　と狭山丘陵の裾野の細道を行く巡礼装束の思い出を聞きました。その道は大正8年(1919)に現・青梅街道、志木街道が出来て姿を消しました。その跡がやや残る昭和33年(1958)の状況です。\r\nはやし堂(林堂）の歴史\r\n　林堂の創建年代は不明です。\r\n『新編武蔵風土記稿』は芋久保村の条に「観音堂　字林と云所にあり、三間に三間半、観音は如意輪にて、長九寸(二十七㌢）許、行基菩薩の作なりと云」とのみ記します。\r\n　一方、第二次世界大戦直後に調査に来られた方が居て、棟札に、次のことが記されていたと伝えられます。\r\n　「狭山十九番札所 願主 休心\r\n　金弐両三分百九拾文\r\n　右者卯辰両歳分\r\n　元文元年辰十二月（1736）\r\n　大正十二年一月草茸亜鉛改造\r\n　大正十三年一月庫裡杉皮亜鉛改\r\n　昭和六年二月互拝改葺替\r\n　昭和十五年改」\r\n　この堂が、画像の旧観音堂でした。\r\n　これからすると、旧観音堂は江戸時代の堂よりは小さめにつくられていたようです。旧堂内では、明治から大正にかけて、近隣の青年が集って夜学をしていたと伝えられます。\r\n保存板碑\r\n『狭山之栞』は\r\n「林堂は本尊如意輪観世音行基作の座像一尺余。狭山第十九番の霊場也。地中古碑あり。左図の如し。」\r\nとして、下記の図を記載しています。\r\n　阿弥陀様を種子とし、享徳2年(1453)7月の年月が刻まれています。現在は、蓮華寺に保存されています。\r\n　『新編武蔵風土記稿』がこの地を「字　林」とし、堂名を「林堂」とするように、観音堂の地は林でした。その林間に板碑はまつられていたものと推測できます。\r\n六地蔵菩薩\r\n　林堂の左隣に六地蔵尊がまつられています。移転前は先の画像のように、覆い屋の中にまつられていました。\r\n　地蔵尊は従前から観音堂に接してまつられていました。中央の丸彫立像には\r\n　造立施主　芋久保村　道俗男女　郷　百四十余人\r\n　と彫られています。観音堂とどのような結びつきがあったのか知りたいです。\r\n　\r\n　板　碑　享徳2年(1453)\r\n　地蔵尊　享保7年(1722)\r\n　観音堂　元文元年(1736）\r\n　　と、観音堂の建てられた地は中世から仏に関するまつりごとのある場所だったようです。\r\n馬頭観音\r\n　観音堂の前の道筋に馬頭観音がまつられています。明治7年(1874)の年号が刻まれ、地域の方々によれば、位置は動いていないと云われます。東大和市域内では馬頭観音は昭和4年(1929)まで建立されますが、このように自然石の大きな像はこの像が最後になります。\r\n"}],"sequences":[{"@id":"https://higashiyamatoarchive.net/omeka/index.php/iiif/1573/sequence/normal","@type":"sc:Sequence","label":"Current
